The dedication of polytechnic teachers is a fundamental element that is reflected in the academic quality of the institution. 74% of the staff work full time, 40 hours per week, a value that has remained constant in ESPOL since the 1960s. One significant fact is the increase in the number of women teaching in the institution. Today women make up 35% of teaching staff.
