The Special Committe of ESPOL invites any interested individuals or legally constituted bodies to participate in the process of direct sale of non productive assets, classified in three groups as found in the containers identified by numbers 2, 3 y 4 (list attached), located in the area of Technologies of the “Campus Gustavo Galindo Velasco", Km. 30.5, Vía Perimetral, next to Cdla. Santa Cecilia, Province of Guayas, with a total starting price of US$ 1.151,78 plus VAT, broken down as follows:
- Starting price for GROUP 1 (goods found in container Nº 2): US$ 423,84 1 VAT
- Starting price for GROUP 2 (goods found in container Nº 3): US$ 169,63 1 VAT
- Starting price for GROUP 3 (goods found in container N° 4): US$ 558,31 1 VAT
Interested parties may view and inspect the assets to be sold in the aforementioned place, from MONDAY 21 MARCH 2016 from 09:00 to 15:30. For this purpose, please contact the Analyst of Fixed Assets, Econ. Edgar Ernesto Bastidas León.
Offers should be presented in sealed envelope from 09:00 to 10:00 on WEDNESDAY 30 MARCH 2016, in the Secretary’s Office of the Committee, located on the ground floor of the Rectorate building (Legal Consultation), in the "Campus Gustavo Galindo Velasco", Km. 30.5, Vía Perimetral, Guayaquil. Offers should be made in a sealed envelope addressed to the Secretary of the Special Committee, and accompanied by 10% of their total value, in cash, as a guarantee of good faith; and the value corresponding to the surcharge of 12% VAT should be included (Please itemize the sum offered separately from VAT). The participant, if an individual, should attach to the offer a copy of her identity card; and if a legally constituted body, should accompany the identity card with documentation accrediting the individual’s nomination as legal representative.
Every offer should be without conditions and in cash for the entirety of the goods (3 groups) classified as GROUP I and GROUP 2 and GROUP 3 (see attached breakdown) as found in containers identified by numbers 2. 3 and 4 in the "Campus Gustavo Galindo"; payment in installments will not be allowed, and no offers will be accepted below the stipulated starting price. (The person winning the auction will then be free to collect the goods from the aforementioned place).
On the stipulated date and time, the Special Committee will meet in the premises of the Administrative Management to open the envelopes in the presence of participants, read the offers, qualify them and adjudicate the goods to the highest bidder, who will then pay the outstanding price within the following working day after the opening of offers and notification..
The following are excluded from taking part in the process, whether in their own name or by proxy: anyone who is or has been an employee of ESPOL, their spouses or relatives within the fourth degree of consanguinity or second of affinity.
