STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Professional student organizations are apolitical multidisciplinary groups which offer ESPOL students an integrated development, including the opportunity for students to participate in extracurricular activities. These spaces are intended to serve as a springboard for the development of new ideas, the discovery of new talents and the cultivation of competences.  

IEEE- ESPOL

A professional organization dedicated to the advancement of technological innovation for the benefit of humanity. A groups of ESPOL students forms part of IEEE, which has agreements with more than 12 universities in Ecuador, as well as affiliates around the world.

SME ESPOL

A professional society which, in conjunction with a group of students from the College of Geosciences Engineering, FICT, puts into practice their acquired knowledge of mining, metallurgy and exploration in the field of mining. In this way, students develop the skills required in their professional field.

This group is dedicated to promoting and disseminating knowledge and applications related to the degree course of Industrial Engineering and related areas, focusing on the academic and professional development of its members.

Its mission is to consolidate a student group, organized with a long term continuity's view, in which members are able to participate and benefit from the programs of ACI in order to acquire knowledge and the most advanced technical competence in the use of cement and concrete.

A group dedicated to exploiting refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning for human use and promoting planetary sustainability.

INSTITUTE OF FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS STUDENT ASSOCIATION | ESPOL CHAPTER

The purpose of this organization is to encourage students in the degree course of Food Engineering, and those from related fields, to become part of an international network offering tools that complement their professional and personal development.

FEPOL

A pluralist organization whose aims include forming student cultural groups and commissions for the welfare of students in the Institution. In addition, it participates in the organization of scientific competitions, seminars, conferences and similar events.

LIGA DEPORTIVA POLITÉCNICA (POLYTECHNIC SPORTING LEAGUE)

This group works for the sporting welfare of ESPOL students. The institution includes among its students some elite sportsmen and women who belong to squads that represent Ecuador in events in other countries.

This group’s mission is to advance in the art, science and practice of Naval Architecture, Naval Engineering, Ocean Engineering and other professions related to the sea.
